 On Palm Sunday we enter the church with palm branches, waving them like the crowds that lined the route of Jesus’s entrance into Jerusalem.
We celebrate this day as the beginning of the events of Jesus’ passion. While the readings reflect the entry and all the events through the
crucifixion, the emphasis remains on the triumphal entry. What a contrast to events yet to unfold.
