The Youth Ministry supports youth ages 13-18+ in the development of relationships that
lead them to God. .
 The Youth Advocacy Team (YAT) meets monthly to discuss issues and guide the youth group. Anyone with an interest in youth can join. We also need
people who like to work directly with the youth, either participating in weekly meetings or on a special events.
Our goals are:
- To offer a program that furthers youth on their path to God.
- To offer a variety of activities; some just fun, some reflective and some that serve others.
Long term goals are:
- More outreach work with Magdelene House.
- Participation with Coastside Jewish Community (CJC) youth
- Meeting other youth groups
- Planning and participating in a trip to Mexico to build a house (next year)
Tentative 2002/2003 Calendar:
- Weekly meetings on Tuesdays, 6:30 to 8:00
- Monthly food distribution with Magdelene House: Typically the last Saturday of each month @9:30AM
- January Ski trip
- Shrove Tuesday Pancake supper
- April Christmas in April Project
- May River Rafting
